Woven from warm and breathable pure virgin wool and combed for a softer, thicker feel, Pendleton's collection of distinctive national park blankets bear historic markings and colors dating back to frontier trading posts. Variations of the stripes in the original collection have been adapted to reflect the characteristics of three distinguished national parks: Glacier, Olympia, and the Grand Canyon. Each blanket is still woven in Pendleton's Pacific Northwest mills, just as they were made nearly 100 years ago.
